Build mode is the second step into making a household. In this mode you will be making the house that your sims will be living in. You will be able to make additions when you get money later in the game. This build mode is a lot different from the other build modes from the later games due to the fact that when you build a room and style it but say you want to move it, well you can. In this Build it mode they allow you to move the rooms. This way you don't have to drag each individual piece of furniture. They also have styled rooms, this way you can just click on the styled rooms in the build it mode and choose one to make the rooms for you. There is also other stuff that you can get like a rocket from going to level ten in the astronaut career.

Build it Mode

Create a Sim
CAS or better known as Create a Sim is where you get to put your people making skills to the test.This includes getting to chose the traits for your sims but I will get to that latter. But in the sims 4 you have more control with facial features and body shape. You also have the ability to chose what the age of the sim is like a young adult or teen.
Traits-
Traits are the things that make your sims who they are. Sims can have many different combinations of traits. There are traits like being family orientated witch means that your sim with want to have a family but there are also traits to where you can make your sims hate children. Talking about children also brings up their traits. When you sims have a child you will get to chose from a list of certain traits like the Whiz kid trait, then you will pick a trait from another list. You will only get to add traits when you want when you child grows up. The only time you dont get to chose a trait in when either a young adult is aging up or a adult is turning into an elder or when a sim is giving birth.

What Is This Site About?
Welcome this is a site about everything Sims. I will tell some cheat codes and how to deal with the life of your sims. But first I will get into stuff like the CAS mode and the Build It Mode.
For this games we will also be talking about expansion packs witch help you get new things such as clothing and stuff like in the Get to Work where you can go to work with your sims as well as give birth at the hospital.
